This should come standard with the dayfarer bags IMHO. That being said, it works, the fidlock magnet is very nice and easy to use. The lack of dangle stopper is a bit annoying especially since i am paying an extra $12 for this accessory that is generally standard for other packs.
When you are lifting heavy items, the chest strap's convenience is fantastic. It effectively shifts the weight to your chest area and lightens the load significantly.
The magnetic solution is better than Aer aswell, as the unlocking motion requires you to manually shift it up and down and therefore won't unlock without you intending it to (mitigating the flaw mentioned in Bo Ismono's video about magnetic straps).
P.s. that magnetic "click" sound though...
